Bild wrote: "Kane (until 63'): The England star gave Bayern the lead with a powerful shot from around 18 meters, but also missed several great chances — including a header in the 22nd minute. Grade 2"

Kane was given a rating of two out of six – with six being the worst and one the best.

WHAT OTHER GERMAN MEDIA SAID

Spox gave Kane a 2 rating, while Sport gave him 2.5.

Spox wrote: He opened the scoring with his trademark Kane goal to make it 1-0. He had a superb game overall and repeatedly impressed as a great distributor. For example, in the buildup to the 3-0, when his pinpoint cross from the half-court set up Guerreiro. The only disappointment was that Kane didn't add a second goal; his header in the 22nd minute was particularly clear. He later had a great opportunity after an outstanding solo run, but was denied by Müller. Substituted after an hour."

Sport said: "His willingness to compromise often caused problems for the opposing defense. He then exploited these weaknesses to score his impressive opening goal. He subsequently had several more great chances that he really should have taken advantage of. He easily could have scored a hat trick here."
