NWSL sides Gotham, San Diego Wave and Portland Thorns have discovered their group-stage opponents for the inaugural CONCACAF W Champions Cup.

The U.S. trio were involved in Thursday's draw for the first edition of the tournament, which will kick-off in August 2024 and be played through to May 2025. NWSL champions Gotham will take on two Mexican giants in the first round, in Tigres and Monterrey, while 2023 Shield winners San Diego will face Portland in Group B.

Success in this competition will also lead to qualification for the new FIFA Women's Club World Cup, which will take place in early 2026, though the exact qualification criteria has not yet been determined.
