Before Aston Villa's 3-2 Champions League quarter-final second-leg win over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, the Europa League anthem was mistakenly played at Villa Park. That prompted Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher to poke fun at United and Villa loanee Rashford as they have been playing in that inferior competition in recent times.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Despite Carragher's cheeky jab, Rashford showed just how good he can be in Villa's 5-4 aggregate Champions League quarter-final loss against PSG. Villa can be proud of their display, whereas United are on course to have their worst season in a very long time, especially if they are knocked out of the Europa League this week against Lyon.
