As part of his speech, Postecoglou spoke about the importance of togetherness. He said: "I've been in this game a long time, I've experienced it all. But I'm so proud how all of you have stuck together. Not one time have I felt people aren't believing or have lost what we have in here. It's just outstanding.
"People will never realise what it's taken for you guys to be in this position and you deserve all the credit for that. It's unbelievable what you've done. To come to this place, a difficult place, and win comfortably. All the things we've had to deal with."
